Star and Silk is designed as a private, on-device astrology app. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Information You Enter
The app may ask for birth details such as date, time, place, latitude, longitude, and time zone so it can calculate your chart and daily astrology readings.
This information is stored locally on your device. Star and Silk does not create an account for you and does not send your birth profile to an external server.
Location
If you choose to use current location during setup, the app uses that permission to help fill location coordinates for chart setup. Location is optional and is only requested when you tap Use Current Location. If you use Find City, iOS may use Apple's geocoding service to return coordinates for the city search. The app does not transmit your birth profile or location to the developer.
Purchases
The launch version does not sell subscriptions or in-app purchases.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, the app may schedule local reminders on your device. These notifications are handled by iOS. The app does not send notification data to an external server.
Analytics, Ads, and Tracking
Star and Silk does not use third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs. The app does not track you across apps or websites.
Data Collection Summary
Based on the current launch version, Star and Silk does not collect personal data from the app developer's server because the app has no account system, analytics backend, advertising SDK, or external profile storage.
Data Stored on Your Device
Your chart profile, readings, history, preferences, and notification settings may be stored locally on your device. You can remove app data by deleting the app from your device.
Children
Star and Silk is not directed to children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated if Star and Silk adds accounts, analytics, server sync, or other features that change how data is handled. The effective date will be updated when the policy changes.
